This movie was soooooooo mind-blowingly bad, I almost wish I could go back in time and unwatch it. It's like a lost episode of mystery science theater 3000 that never aired. It's like something a bunch of stoners cooked up in a lab and forced a movie studio to produce at gunpoint in an alternate reality. The only compliment I can think of giving this film is it may deserve an honorable mention at the golden raspberry awards. Even the few good actors in this film could not save it from hurdling into the abyss of absurdity. And to that end I can think of a second compliment... At least they had no limits to how absurd they were willing to let the story's premise get. The only true entertainment value that I got out of watching this film was giving it a bad review for waisting my time💩

If you have not read the book the movie will make no sense. Missing is some of the great comedy lines from the book and well developed characters. It comes across as a tribute band to a great band. They may be playing the same songs, but in the end they are a pale comparison.

This film was awesome. The first time I saw this film, I thought it was great, but hadn't read the book, so I thought it could be better. The second time I saw it, I had read the book and loved it, and thought that the movie was fantastic. Sure it deviates and combines aspects from the novel, but that's ok, because Coscarelli, Mayes, and Williamson capture the zany, strange, and funny aspects and atmosphere of the book. The film is worth it, and I hope they make the sequel, even though I haven't read that yet.

I rented this movie expecting it to be just ok but was surprised to find it to be great!!! There are no boring or slow parts…it entertains from start to finish. You have to watch with an open mind and accept it for what it is….just imaginative fun!

I have not read the book and had no idea what to expect with the movie. I was pleasantly surprised- it's witty, funny and over the top. However, the story lacked in several aspects, so I'm chalking that up to a crappy adaptation of the book. Even with that said, overall it's worth the watch.

It was okay. I'm glad it only cost $.99. It had funny parts but other than that I didn't get the point. The storyline didn't make sense To me.

iTunes I can't believe you're starting to put up the same movies you put up a wild back. You're going to lose customers this way please stop putting up movies that already had been put up for $.99 cents already and give us a break. Put up some good Worthwild thriller action or horror flicks thank you!! Mr. Green. Don't get me wrong the movie is great but don't repeat the same movies over and over for this price thank you.!

What a bummer. I wasted an hour and a half of my life and lost a dollar in the process. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. It just plain sucked. Not even worth a dollar to rent.
