This show is great if you already love show’s like “Long Island Medium”, where someone interacts with spirits. You have to take it on faith that it’s not a hoax and that Amy isn’t having contact with her detective partner to discover the facts about a case. Personally I love to see the dark side of what it’s like to be a psychic and deal with the not-so-pleasant spirits that may not be “all love and light”. However, if are expecting something like “The Haunted Collector” this isn’t that show. There are no fancy gadgets to record voices, only scientific research and a talented medium.

Where to start?? Let's start with the cutaways and the fact that they use the same fade in and out every couple of seconds to the point where I was feeling carsick after the first three minutes. Next would be the victim and her description of events and the toll it has taken on the family when everything she describes could be chalked up to post-partum or just the stresses associated with married life or life in general not just a haunting. Then I would just put it out there that this show lacks the production quality of its rivals (Ghost Hunters, etc.) in that even in the rivals first seasons they were head and shoulders above this farce in the initial research, background story and the systematic troubleshooting that they would do whereas this is just a medium and a guy with a handheld going around the house throwing stuff out there and I could only watch the first 10 minutes before I dragged this into my trash folder grateful that I didn't have to pay anything for it. How this made it to it's 5th season I have no idea.
