Description

Season Two of Legit goes a bit deeper with comedian Jim Jefferies pondering why he’s never had a relationship longer than six months, whether he’s a sex addict and how to deal with an extended visit from his parents and his roommates’ dad, Walter. With responsibility also falling on Jim’s shoulders to cover for his roommate Steve – who has descended into alcoholism after losing his daughter to his ex-wife – Jim juggles his unnatural inclination to be a good guy with an overwhelming desire to take his career to the next level and rekindle a romance with his high school sweetheart. Meanwhile, Jim’s other roommate, Billy, faces an earth-shattering loss while adjusting to new muscular dystrophy medications and an unconventional romantic relationship.

Legit wears a skin of dark and edgy comedy, only to cover its heartfelt core. In a way semi-reminiscent of Scrubs, an episode can go from having you in tears from laughter to having you in tears from emotion in a snap. The characters are real, which is part of what makes the show so great. It does't glorify life, nor does it paint it as a hellish experience. It portrays life as it really is. It kills me to know this show doesn't get as much attention as it should, but until it's forced out, I will anxiously await every new episode. Thanks Jim for creating a refreshing and original comedy

I thought season one was enjoyable……season 2 has twice the surprises. Thumbs up for the writing! No regrets buying this so far.

This is an excellent show. Pulls off edgy comedy but packs it full of heart. This show will be around for a while. Thanks Jim.

This is absolutely an under-promoted show. I only happened to watch an episode of it because it was on a list for something work related, and ended up watching the season, and eagerly watching for the second season to hit iTunes. Similar to the feel and comedy of Always Sunny but completely it's own show. Definitely worth checking out.
