Suspense to the Max

I never watched any of these actors again in any other movie, but in this movie, they played the parts extremely well. I would never want to live in this area of the country where such criminals might exist. If I were passing through, I wouldn't stop for anything. Christopher Walken was very intense. I can't see him again without thinking of this character. This movie also reminded me that Madonna, despite all her flaws can sing some very good songs. She is a talent. I saw this movie when it first came out and only once since then. I think it's time I see it again, despite the very sad parts that exist.
Chilling and memorable

One of the most intense, chilling, and memorable films I've ever seen, about family relationships gone dangerously wrong. The acting, especially by Walken and Penn, is off-the-charts good and unforgettable. It's not what anyone would call a feel-good movie, but it's definitely worth seeing if you love good, powerful films exceedingly well-done and acted.
Best movie (true story) Penn played in!
