this movie wanted to achieve something and it did exactly that. its a great, hilarious and funny movie. You can't take serious but that wasn't agenda anyway. its one of the must funniest movies since Hot Shots and Naked Weapon. I appreciate that this kind of humor added with funny action scenes is not dead yet!

Just as the title above implies, an utter disappointment. I got hooked on the classic original A-TEAM series in the summer of '09, and fell in love with the characters, the plots, the action sequences, and the memorable lines. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the movie. It's almost as though the director and the producers had two choices: (1) Spend most of the movie's budget on the special effects, or (2) Spend most of the movie's budget on the actors. As we all know, they went with option number one. Yes, the effects are pretty cool in some areas of the film, but alas, it lacks both the proper acting and storyline to uphold the entire thing. Were I the director, I'd have kept Liam Neeson as Hannibal. Or, if not, my next choice would've been Steve Martin for his naturally silver hair. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson made a perfect B.A., but I couldn't help wondering, '' Where's all the bling, Bosco?" Murdoc was a disappointment; Why Jim Carey wasn't chosen for the role, I'll never know. And finally, Face was portrayed as a jerk by Bradley Cooper of "The Hangover" fame. Within the first few minutes of his appearance in the film, I wished he'd just die. Why wasn't Brad Pit chosen for the role? He would've been terrific. As for the plot, it's like they couldn't decide whether to make "The A-Team" a sequel or a prequel, so it was decided to do a little of both. There are so many twists and turns, it's hard to decipher what's what in some parts. Rumors suggest there will be a sequel. Bradley Cooper himself admitted the film didn't do as well at the box office as the producers would've liked, so the chances of a second movie are pretty slim. Besides, even if they were to come out with one, what would it be called? The A-Team 2? Nah. Too overused and predictable. How about "The A-Team Returns"? That's not a bad title. But what would be the point in making it? What would the characters be doing in this one? Still on the run from the U.S. Government, no doubt, still trying to clear their names. Could anyone picture this motley crew of ruffians actually HELPING people like the characters did in the TV show? Not these guys. You see, all they care about is helping themselves and....well, helping themselves. Plus, they're meaner than the classic crew of the '80s, and are less likable. Overall, The A-Team was, and still is, a waste of anticipation and money to go see it in the theaters. Basically, if you crave action, adventure, and genuine loyalty and teamwork, watch "RED" and ''GI-JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA" for even better directed thrills than the likes of "THE C-TEAM."
