I am a huge comic book buff and sure the movie could have had a better storyline but this movie is one of the last Marvel superhero movies that wasn't made by Disney. True Marvel Movie!!!

It really makes me wonder how some movies get greenlit. Elektra, the comic book character, is such a fascinating, ruthless, and interesting assassin. Elektra, the movie character, is portrayed as dull, uninteresting, reserved, and an assassin with a conscience. Elektra is suppose to be all badass and will stop at nothing to get the job done. I understand that the writers were trying make more her more human and less of a robot in the movie, but when you get down to it, that is not what Elektra is about. This could have been an awesome movie, but like most movies that are adapted for the cinema, it is far from awesome. The acting is great and Jennifer Garner does an amazing job as Elektra. The action is minimal. Elektra is suppose to be a martial arts/weapons expert and I expected to see some awesome, wicked action scenes, unfortunately that is not the case. It's not that the movie is bad, it was just disappointing that they didn't end up doing more with such an interesting character.

ok! FIRST OFF, I LOVED the movie. Not just because of the acting (which was amazing) but from the martial arts and special effects and effort they put into this movie. Jennifer was great, and I'm so proud of her and how hard she worked. The movie was good, doesn't exactly follow the comic amazingly, but the comics are a little too far fetched for a movie. ok. I'm angry because I was waiting for quite some time to get this on itunes, and I bought the directors cut, I really want it on my ipod though. but GRRR, I don't think it gives me a free digital copy.... **sigh** LOVED THE MOVIE THOUGH!

it goes from one thing 2 anotha, the story is incomprehendible, but.... the acting is good and it fits its origin. also, this isn't that bad it just really dusnt speak for a movie that is based on a comic book. although Jennifer Garner is an excelent choice as the role for elektra, the script should have been more clearer and like other marvel movies,2hrs. long!!! id just rent it and see how u lik it.
