Description

Harry Sanborn (Jack Nicholson) is a perennial playboy with a libido much younger than his years. During what was to have been a romantic weekend with his latest infatuation, Marin (Amanda Peet), at her mother's Hamptons beach house, Harry develops chest pains. He winds up being nursed by Marin's reluctant mother Erica Barry (Diane Keaton), a successful, divorced New York playwright. In the process, Harry develops more heart pangs -- the romantic kind -- for Erica, an age-appropriate woman whom he finds beguiling. However, some habits die hard. When Harry hesitates, his charming thirtysomething doctor (Keanu Reeves) steps in and starts to pursue Erica. And Harry, who has always had the world on a string, finds his life unraveling.

Love this movie! The dynamics of Jack Nicholson (Sandborn) and Diane Keaton (Barry) is incredible! I love the concept of the film...finding love after 50. It's a great movie to watch! Love the comical aspect to it. Makes it appear to be more realistic. 2 Thumbs Up!

I loved this film, I love that it shows what the middle aged go through in the dating scene and romance. I liked the characters...Jack plays the jerk and Diane plays the East coast writer who wants nothing to do with hime since he is dating her daughter. As you can imagine there is interaction between the two and its funny and thought provoking at the same time. I really liked how this movie evolved and showed the generational differences you just cant get away from. Amanda Peet is charming and Keanu Reeves is well...Keanu Reeves. This is a great film for all ages..even grandma!
  • It's as good as it gets for sure

This is one of the finest movies I have seen in a very long time w/couples in my age group. I loved the chemistry between Nicholson & Keaton. Him being a womanizer for young women finally realizing they ain't all that after all. Keaton fearing falling in love again and failing! Adding a young man (Reeves) into the mix to boost her self esteem!! Just great chemistry all the way around. Love it!
