I truly enjoyed this doc. I definitely recommend it whether you’ve seen the first one or not (though I do recommend both!). I dont want to give too many spoilers, but I liked how this doc had some individuality while still being tied to the first one. For example, “johnsons” features one guy who also works as an escort/porn film actor, where I don’t believe the first film had anyone talk about this subject, and there was also an appearance by the local who gives you an idea about how the club fits into the town. Again I don’t want to give too much away, but you should definitely watch. It remains and interesting topic and I can’t fathom anyone disliking it.

Great followup to the first one. It ties together with “All Male All Nude” while still having it’s own unique direction. The owner Matt is a cool guy and I enjoyed hearing his story and also hearing from his man. Enjoyed hearing the backstories of the dancers who all seem to come from different backgrounds and have different futures ahead of them. Crystal clear picture and sound. The footage is very well compiled in an organized fashion. It does NOT drag like some documentaries do. It moves at a steady pace and keeps your attention very well. The director, Gerald McCullouch, had a clear direction and storyline he followed throughout. The music by Corey TuT is awesome throughout as well. Highly recommended.

By far one of the best documentaries I have seen in a while. Totally different outlook on dancing. I’m from Fort Lauderdale and lived in Wilton manors and is the perfect place to go and have a good time. The atmosphere and the drive is by far my favorite place for night time. Johnson’s has to be one of the cleanest and fun places to go.
