Came cross this movie.. while searching thur LGBT film category... and I came cross this movie.. Gerald McCullouch who is the main actor, and also the director, and most of all he is delicious to look at in the film... but overall it is a really great film.. he really did a great job with directing this movie.. making me feel really connected to the characters, and I’m sure many gay younger men like myself can most likely relate to this film.. (daddies issues) there are some twisted and some shocking results during the middle and the end, that will keep you confuse. But the truth does come out!!! So you gonna stay tuned!! But however Gerald McCullouch character kept me on edge.. showing love and compassion for another young man in the film. For who which he falls in loves with.. this is a great film for your friends, or educational or just a movie night in alone.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love the story and watched 3 times. All memory coming back to me. I am fine now with love. We are all the same before love.

This movie has several twists in its story and made me think about the importance of family and friends.
  • A Challenging Film Worth Seeing

"DADDY" is a film that isn't necessarily easy to watch, but that's all the more reason to do so. In addition to the taboo subject matter alluded to in the title, it covers topics like race, homophobia, conservatism, and more in an even-handed way. Highly recommend this movie!

Wow, just wow. So powerful. I so thought Colin was being set up for something more formulaic. Will not spoil it with what I really wanted to type! The story and cinematography blew me away. Pittsburgh should have received an acting credit - it showed so well and played to the story all the time. Gerald's performance does pull you in and makes you feel like you are there.

I think the other reviews must have been friends. Poor script, no chemistry anywhere, poor acting and disgusting contrivance in second act got me to turn it off. You will too when you get there - disgusting.

I would have given it 1 star, but Dan Via was decent. Dumb movie, dumb premise, plot that strains credulity to the point of being ridiculous.
