I watched it years and years ago and didn’t remember much about it and recently saw somewhere people mention the movie or talking about so I thought I would watch it again. Good lord it’s bad and so incredibly incredibly boring. Don’t watch it if you can free. I watched all but like 17 mins where the final battle was beginning and just had to stop. There are way better things to do with your time than spending any of them watching this movie.
  • Not the director’s cut

This is a fun movie, but if you already own the non-director’s cut, don’t double-dip. The runtime on this is mere seconds longer than the theatrical version. And while it includes 1 deleted scene (watchable via the extras menu) that’s about a minute long, it’s missing the rest of the 5 minutes 36 seconds of new content that the director’s cut is supposed to have. I researched what was supposed to be in the DC, and none of the extra scenes are in this version of the movie. I didn’t notice anything new compared to the theatrical version. Hopefully they fix this mistake eventually. Also in the extras is the Theatrical version, which is redundant.

I watched this movie when it first came out, i absolutely loved the story. It was a very emotional movie with great story telling. Deserves much more recognition than it gets.

Totally reminds me of a story I wrote back in high school for creative writing class about a kid born with psychic powers and his mother died giving birth to him leading his father blaming him for her death and abuses him physically and verbally.
