Ex Machina did the ripping off!

I loved it. Very engaged. For all those who say it’s an ex machine rip off, just google it. This movie came out before ex machine did. Just because you’ve heard of the big release and not the indie movie, doesn’t mean that the small one ripped off the big one. I thought the characters were great, the pace was well executed, and the overall story was fantastic.
Look no further if you have sleeping problems

Boring….slow….Perfect if you have insomnia and don’t like taking pills.
Yes, the last 5 minutes are surprising, if you can last that long.
Thank God I watched it on Netflix, so it was practically free.
Good luck !!!!
Better than Ex Machina

In my opinion this movie is better than Ex Machina, to which it's construction is very similar: small setting, small cast, making the viewer ponder what defines human behavior, and more emphasis on plot and acting than special effects. However in this movie the robot's human creator is more authentic, and the robot doesn't make any completely illogical decisions if one considers what it was programmed to do in the lab setting (whereas in Ex Machina the robot makes a decision at the end of the movie that I find completely illogical & therefore makes for a very weak point to it's story).
Brilliant

A not-so-distant future, normalized and inspired. Artificial Intelligence, relationships and brilliant music make for a suspense filled journey through a real time experiment. wait for it…
Great little independent movie!

…its not that its terrible, I've seen much worse. The problem with this film though is the machine character too easily crosses over into human emotion to the point of over-acting, so because its not controlled, its rendered unbelievable. And, if they were trying to go for that (robot in further stages of AI and human emotion) there wasn't enough scientific or logistical basis to set it up for the audience to forgive. Even in light of ex-machina, I think uncanny had potential, but the script falls flat on its face.
