Description

In this crime thriller, a former CIA agent, John Reese (Jim Caviezel) teams up with mysterious billionaire Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) to prevent violent crimes before they happen. Reese's special training in covert operations appeals to Finch, a software genius who invented a program, aka “The Machine,” that can identify people soon to be involved in violent crimes. Tapping into ubiquitous surveillance feeds throughout the city, the two work outside of the law, combining Reese's black ops skills with Finch's technological prowess and unlimited wealth to unravel the mystery of the person of interest, and stop the crime before it happens. Also working with Reese and Finch are detectives Carter and Fusco (Taraji P. Henson & Kevin Chapman). With infinite crimes to investigate, Reese and Finch find that the right person, with the right information, at the right time, can change everything.

Addictive, fast moving crime drama. Focus on a computer that can predict crimes and the characters that set out to stop them. If you haven't seen this show you are missing out!

I absolutely LOVE every single character. BEST SHOW I’VE EVER WATCHED!!!!! I would recommend to every person out there. Great directors, producers, actors(love Fusco and John’s lines and Harold’s old romance). Maybe Harold’s girlfriend’s social security number should appear and force Harold to go the her again. THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!!! I hope that happens. The best show ever, anyway. Hope you love it!

The actors and plot have been fast paced and innovative but they need to have more tech and tactical resources and involvement from the Machine electronically becoming active. Reese needs to see Season 1 and rethink his acting he is becoming too mellow..
Best show on TV…you better tell somebody!

I know the producers said there was some things that needed to be worked out to released it digitally, sure glad they did. Physical release is months away, this is perfect in HD on AppleTV. Season 2 pics up right where season 1 ended and builds the entire season, adding more of the 'teams' background and each episode gets better. One of those rare shows that doesn't have dull moments. So glad it's on iTunes now. Can't wait for season 2. Highly recommend getting it here if you can't wait until SEPT release date.

If you are going to invest time and money in a TV series - this is the one. It has the perfect mix of excellent acting and intelligent writing. Highly addictive!!

The show reminds me of an updated (and hi-tech) version of the 80s TV series "The Equalizer". The acting is superb and all the cast members are well-developed and believable. I especially love the chemistry between Reese and Finch. The "flashback" technique used in most episodes is a nice touch to fill in (if ever so slightly) some aspect of one of the characters. An intriguing show - see at least one episode!
