Adam, you don't quite know what your talking about. I've lived here in Louisiana my whole life. The Gator population is growing out of control, we have gators like a pig farm has flies. When areas start to flood, the gators look for higher ground and they tend to find ponds and such in small neighborhoods where kids and animals like to play. Yes, when a gator gets hungry, they will eat whatever comes by. Many of dogs around here have been eatin by gators, I had one shred a fence and kill most of my hunting dogs. I've shot a many in my yard, but I always clean and eat them, it is a way of life.

Gator Control People !!!! Swamp People show the pretty side of the gator world. What you don't see are the gators that swim to our yard ponds or the gators that travel thru natural land drainages to our ditches. When hungry, a GATOR WILL EAT our dogs or our kids!!!! There's not much more than minnows in ditches and not all ponds are stocked. These gators get hungry and will take every opportunity to prey upon any food source. Our children are usually the first to encounter these roaming gators. Gator hunting is no different than deer, rabbit, squirrel, or any other wild animal hunted in the other 49 States. In South Louisiana we eat gator, along with crawfish, like Texans eat BBQ. Louisiana Gators live better lives than any other domesticated animal we eat. They live their entire lives in their own environment; until we need some more Gator Nuggets in our freezers. How can u Tree Huggers twist, "people making an honest hard living, providing a food source, and controlling what would be a deadly reptile population" in to murder and slaughter is beyond me. CITY DUDE, GET REAL!!! Enuf said on that comment. Lady watching with the children - We got a kick out of your story. GO TANNER!!! Too Cute. We have Rednecks, Redbones, City Slickers, In Betweens, but we are known for our Creoles and Cajun Troys. I love the heritage and history of Louisiana! NOW WE HAVE RAGIN CAJUNS. Shrimpers in Venice, La. The last city before the Gulf of Mexico. Everyone in Venice talks like Glenn. TALKS ONLY ;-)

Great show! I'm from Louisiana and love our culture...no other place like it! Great place to visit and experience new things. Love this show and everyone on it!

They need a proDrive to go through all of those swamps I have one and it is awsomeeeeeeeeee it jumps flotons and goes on straight mud better than a gator tail best boat ever highly recomended.

I am from South Louisiana and this truly depicts the Cajun life style... Hard working and determined to make a living however they can... This is truly a breath of fresh air in reality television... Real Southern Americans making ends meet by the seat of their pants without government assistance... Love it...

this is my favorite show ever!!!it really shows how cajuns live.

Dem alligators all up in dem booskyos, yea. great show, entertaining, suspenful, funny, what more can we ask for

this show is great the only thing that would make it any better is if they would let me go with them a time or two and treat me to a good ole cajun meal sure looks good
