This is an interesting series which covers a wide range of scientific and a few “pseudo-scientific” topics. It nicely fills the void left after re-watching Cosmos (Sagan and Tyson) about 100 times each. What I don’t understand are the negative reviews from the obviously religious viewers. Why even bother watching? You should know by now that any semi legit scientific discussion is going to treat god no differently than any other fairy tale. Also, the negative reviews from the few anti-science contributors…. one has to wonder what exactly they are typing their review on if science is, as they claim, B.S. The pope didn’t pray your computer into existence. Thats all science folks!! As the great Carl Sagan said, "We've arranged a global civilization in which the most crucial elements profoundly depend on science and technology. We have also arranged things so that almost no one understands science and technology. This is a prescription for disaster. We might get away with it for a while, but sooner or later this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces."

The first show caught my attention. It tackles the most fundamental question there is. The one thing I felt was missing from all the theories, was a simple question. "If there is a God, then who or what created him". This line of thinking leads to madness, or simply an acceptance that we will never know. Just as we know the universe never ends. We know this because if we traveled the 13.7 llight years of the known universe and hit a brick wall. We know there would have to be something beyond and that space would continue indefinately.

Excellent cutting edge program. Differing viewpoints from the brightest minds in physics and related fields are presented in an interesting and understandable manner illustrated with superb graphics. Morgan Freeman is the icing on the cake. It was a master stroke using this gifted man from outside the physics community to host this show. Keep up the good work !!
  • Won't play in iTunes and won't transfer to iPad

Purchased season one of this series and downloaded to my Mac Pro at home running the current version of both Lion and iTunes. While the downloaded files were visible in iTunes, the application would not play them, instead stating that they required QuickTime to view and were unsupported (literally just minutes after I purchased them on iTunes). I also tried copying the files both manually and automatically to my iPad to see if I could play them on that device but iTunes would not transfer them to the device. This was my first and last attempt at buying any TV content from the iTunes store. Unless you are a time traveler living in the year 2010 who is considering purchasing this series, I would not recommend it since it won't play on any current versions of iTunes.

It's not a show on creationism.. Well I'm sorry that doesn't please you. It's called Logic, something that is necessary for science to progress. If you find scientific proof for God, show us; until then, it's simply a theory; CREATIONISM IS A THEORY, with no deductive proof. Plus, MORGAN FREEMAN??!? This show has it all :).

Space. Time. Life itself. The secrets of the cosmos lie Through the Wormhole. This series is wonderfully entertaining and refreshingly knowledgeable. So many new and advanced concepts are presented that shed new light on the subjects of these age old questions making them surprisingly interesting again.
