Samantha Brown is funny and really enjoyable to watch when it comes to travel shows. I always learn a great deal from her episodes. Keep up the great work! I'd love to see some shows on Vietnam.
  • Only 3 episodes?

I got this thinking that I might get something other than just 3 episodes. I guess it is still cheaper than getting them one by one but how can a season only be 3 episodes?
  • Samantha Brown is the best...

She got me interested in watching the Travel Channel. What I like is that her shows are not loud, they tell you a little something, etc. These three episodes of China only have one fault... they end. If Samantha Brown did more shows in China, I'd buy them. She and China were made for one another!
  • Pedestrian...

Here's the thing: traveling to a foreign nation is exciting and should be done by all, the problem with this show is its incredibly pedestrian approach to the subject. Read a Fodor's tourist travel book or watch a free tourist bureau's video promoting the area and you'll get better coverage than this. Samantha Brown misses every opportunity to interact with and explore the culture and its people to instead gush at the common tourist destinations, luxuriate in a western-style apartment, and feign surprise that her "ultimate" destination around which her entire trip was planned, the Great Wall, has tourist tschotskies for sale while pitching the folkloric facts.
  • Need more cities please!

China is an amazing country! The three shows available are very informative, but where are the episodes from other cities like Guilin, Lijiang, Shanghi, etc?
