Homicide: Life On the Street, Season 3

Bolander, Munch, Felton, Howard, and Lewis mobilize to solve a sixteen year old murder in eight hours when they learn the wrong man is about to be executed for the crime. The man's daughter complicates things by holding Colonel Barnfather hostage until her father is freed. Giardello and Russert clash over how best to handle the situation. Bayliss continues to press the issue of an old woman who seemingly drowned in her tub, much to Pembleton's protests. The ever- flagging waterfront bar is unable to draw a crowd with 'ladies wet-t-shirt night' and brewing their own beer until Bolander suggests turtle racing.
