The show lacks good writing, the characters lack the little chemistry they had from last season. Jodie is the worst I’ve ever seen. They say they include everyone yet here they are spouting out political trash. Writers need to be fired. I’m gonna stick to the older episodes and seasons until this trash is over.

These latest doctor is the most basic person I have ever seen. I think I’m going to drop this show until the writing and story gets better.

  • Getting better...

Improved over Series 11, and now bringing back the...certain recurring villains. Jodie Whittaker is getting better and better as the Doctor; My only complaint is that there are too many companions (yes, yes, I know they're not called that anymore). Series 11 was a necessary respite from the Moffatt era, and at times felt like a throwback to the era of the Fourth Doctor, when recurring characters were a rare thing. They are starting to re-introuduce the complexity of the new series, and doing it on their own terms.
  • Too little diversity

Why won’t they include any transgender, Native American, adopted, single mothers? It’s the patriarchy.
  • Amazing!

I’ve always love doctor who, seeing Jodie as the doctor is a nice change!

This season and season 11 are an incredible departure from the Dr. Who. Do not waste your time with what is pure disappointment.

I had hoped that series 12 would be an improvement over series 11 but I was so wrong. Jodie lacks the gravitas of her predecessors. The companions are still just there. Graham was the one bright spot in series 11. He has been reduced to a joke. The scripts are still terrible with Orphan 55 easily being the worst episode of NuWho. Convoluted and non sensical with a whole load of preachiness thrown in. It’s as if they were worried on nailing the political/social message instead of concentrating on telling a good story. I am a Latin American woman and I remember when the show was geared to a global audience and not just to a certain audience. They claim inclusivity but it feels off. It’s like presenting particular viewpoints instead of presenting more basic human values. This show used to inspire so much hope and instead it just stressed me out so much with all the lecturing. I sadly will not watch any further and I will not but this or any mercy from this era. I prefer to watch all that came before instead.

I would give this zero stars, but apparently itunes requires at least one, so here we are. YIKES.
  • Good but not great

I like Jodie and the companions the shows are pretty good but when there are only 10 episodes it is not great.
