Was even better than season one!! Characters plots are beginning to really come together after a slow start in season 1, and I look forward to a season three after this!!

  • Please Give Aaron Stanford a Razor

Aaron Stanford's boy beard is ridiculous. Could he just pretend to be a serious actor and look the parts he is trying to play?! With the 12 Monkeys, he is lucky enough to have a role that is versatile enough to play many eras. His freakin beard just makes it impossible to believe anything he is portraying. Please write him out and bring in an adult

This is the best Syfy since Battlestar Gallitica and in many ways better. You need to watch every episode twice to be sure you didn't miss anything. Its a mindtwister. #Primary

Without trying to sound voerly melodramatic, this is what GOOD science-fiction is supposed to be. Time travel is (of course) impossible. And yet, it fascinates us. For me, GOOD time travel science-fiction begins with the brilliantly conveived book (oroginally a short story) written by Robert Heinlein: "The Door Into Summer." Like this classic in the genre, both the original screenplay for 12 Monkeys, as well as this series, spin paradoxes (for the most part) into believeable causal histories, one story Arc blending into antother. This sort of writing is at once both the most open-ended, and yet the hardest to maintain and resolve. Paradoxes cannot occur in THIS universe. The writing in 12 Monkeys is superb. A great cast and great direction brings this production to life, and honors its inspiration. I cannot say enough good about this series. It just keeps getting better ... Aaron Stanford (Cole) has truly matured as an actor, and his work here echoes several great years as "Nerd" in the re-make of the Nikita series. Kirk Acevedo was perfectly cast as the dark and vengful, conflicted side-kick of time maven Cole, and the love-strained tension between fated lovers Cole and Amanda Schull (Cassie) continues to keep me haging on: time must resolve this unrequitted love? Actress Barbara Sukowa brings a level of soberiety to the whole production, and obviously gets a kick oout of her "Initiate Splinter Esquence" lines, reflecting the Pickard character's Next Gen Star Trek command to warp to the next adventure: "Engage." This dystopian drama has a predictably longer life than other time travel series thaty ran out of air time. I can only hope that they Writers/Directors will bring the Cole-Cassie love affair to fruition, and use that bond to drive future passions for this world-saving couple. Cassie and Cole need to be togetherl, unfied and unstoppable. They need to find hope for their plight in each ohter's arms. IT'S ABOUT TIME!

I much prefer the smaller original cast. I don't think they exhausted all of the possibilites with what they already had. The turn in focus from the virus to a much larger agenda practically makes it a totally different show. It could be aiming for something like Fringe in its follow up Seasons by changing all the rules.. but that might not be a good fit for this show. Great Cast, Stellar acting.. but story is languishing.. its a drift.
  • Better than season 1

The virus is just one cog in a more sinister story. I hadn't planned on watching this season. I'm glad I did. Characters grown in depth and complexity. Pet peeve: take up customer service issues such as pricing with customer service. Write a review of the show in reviews.
