Hello, it’s Deadpool! I’m sorry, I just don’t understand why FOX was too lazy to release the whole movie in theaters. This movie was awesome! This version makes so much more sense. When will FOX learn. This was also when the studio could afford the real X-Men! Deadpool out!
  • even better version of my favorite movie

days of future past is my favorite movie... ever. obviously, then, i had to see both versions to get the fullest experience, and i am SO happy that i bought this version to go along with the original because it feels a lot of more cohesive. of course, the original is still a masterpiece, and you aren't missing much by only watching that one! but, if you liked the original and now you're trying to decide if you should buy the rogue cut, consider your answers to the following questions. do you: a. think hank mccoy didn't get enough screen time in the original? b. ship raven and hank, and want to see more interactions between them? c. really, really like rogue? i recommend this movie for serious fans that answered "yes" to at least one of the above questions, because they highlight the major differences between the original and the rogue cut. hope this helped! :)

  • Great Anti-War Movie

I hadn't watched the theatrical release, so The Rogue Cut was the only version I saw (twice). This is a wonderful anti-war movie with lots of action and great acting. It also includes plenty of X-Men lore. Quicksilver was a welcome addition to compensate for the overall darkness of the movie. If you notice well, there is a discontinuity at the end, due to the addition of the Rogue scenes.
  • Rogue Cut should be the only cut!

By far my favorite of all the X-Men films and The Rogue Cut is the only way Days Of Future Past should have ever been cut. If you don't own this version already it's the best version and also has the most iTunes extras and commentaries lacking from the theatrical cut. This version also contains the theatrical cut as well.
  • Honestly I was shocked how much better it was

I was really shocked how good this version was. This review will only be about the content not the actual film itself so. If your wondering to buy it or not, do buy it if you dont have the theatrical already but if you do its not a big deal to have this version. I did really enjoy Rogue being featured in the film. In fact if they only showed her scenes instead of the rest of extra unecessary scenes it would have fit in the film just fine and not felt too long. If you buy this in HD you not only get this version but the theatrical version and lots of extra. I think 17.99$ was well worth this purchase.
  • Comical...Feels Forced and Out of Place

The extra Rouge footage is awkward and feels out of place after viewing the theatrical version multiple times. It messes up the original pacing of the movie. The extra sequence with Charles and Erik is a comedy gold mine. It's so cheesy. Lol. I'll stick with the original cut and try to forget I paid twice to watch that dribble.
  • Well done..

Roque just made it even more like X-Men. I wish she could’ve fought in the end instead of replacing Kitty. They should’ve said, “They have been experimenting on Roque.” -Then she shows up and all of a sudden can fly and has super strength as a result from the EXPERIMENTS. That would’ve been the difference between The Rogue Cut and the Theatrical Version…. too bad but still it’s good to have her!
