He's still very watchable in terms of his presence and always-stoic persona. Aging action stars are thrilling to watch merely to see how they still move around vs their younger more nimble days. They are also hard to watch when said moves seem forced and lumbering. Not his fault, we all get older, but it's not the same seeing him put away the bad guys as it was back in the 80s/90s.

I really enjoyed renting this movie. Its always Great to watch an Action Legend like Steven Seagal on screen. The storyline is so so but the Great action sequences is want I came for. If your a fan of classic action movies of the 90’s with a modern twist Absolution has got you covered.

A MUST SEE movie! Seagal is appallingly bad. Vinnie is great, the Chinese guy is excellent and the happy hooker is the best actress in the world, falling in love with The Fat Dude. Terrible production values, cliche baddies. Vinnie hams it up like Jimmy Cagney on steroids - I swear he was laughing as a barely-mobile Man of Wood Seagal threw him around like a WWF wrestler. The bit where Our Hero has his first kiss with the Russian bint was hilariously cringeworthy, and the end was straight out of a 1971 French flick (you know the sort). Love it for its tawdry awfulness! By the way, Seagal, that is not how you hold a gun, unless you are terminally myopic. In which case, get a 12 gauge.

Steven Seagal and Byron Mann are great in this movie. Good plot, good action, good characters and quite entertaining.
