Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

An above average movie with great acting, good story, and nice roles that compliment each character.

So many loose ends & coincidents make a fairly good action flick to turn to ....well, you know!

As my title suggest go get the older Jack Ryan films. This is someone taking a solid character that is smart and heroic and turning them in to a horrible action figure. If you want mindless action go watch something else. Supporting this mess by spending any money on it means you don’t care about the main character. If you like the original character go watch Amazon Prime’s Jack Ryan. That’s a great take on the character.

The best I can say is that it's not terrible. Formulaic, uninspired, and not even particularly fun in the way otherwise vapid action movies can be. The acting is good, but also feels half-hearted given the talent.

Chris pine makes every movie well worth the watch

It was an okay movie. I watched it on Hulu. Glad I didn't pay money to see it. Kiera Knightley's character was completely pointless. They didn't even need her.

Possibly the best directed Jack Ryan movie made. This movie had a great plot, great actors, and above all; a great director with massive vision. Highly recommended.

Was expecting a palinode but to my dismal was surprised. The writers and directors have established an excellent way of showing a story of how Jack Ryan began. My hats off to you…

Compared to all the other Jack Ryan movies this one was mediocre at best.
