Description

Luke and Kate are co-workers at a Chicago brewery, where they spend their days drinking and flirting. They’re perfect for each other, except that they’re both in relationships. Luke is in the midst of marriage talks with his girlfriend of six years, and Kate is playing it cool with her music producer boyfriend Chris. But you know what makes the line between “friends” and “more than friends” really blurry? Beer.

  • Finally a real buddy-movie devoid of bad cliches

Yes, there is people you want to get drunk with and there is people you want to go to bed with. And sometimes it gets a little hard to draw the line... so things wind up a little messy - despite of all the good intentions. But if you really care for each other you will work it out somehow, coz that's what buddies - no matter their sex/gender - do.

How is this 82% that shows you how wrong the “experts” are on movies. This movie goes nowhere. It’s so slow and boring even my wife want able to see it. 👎🏿👎🏿

Good cast stuck in a stupid plot with no way out. I couldn't wait for it to end, and then it did- true to form, it stupid fashion

I relate to this movie so much that I don’t think I could sit through it a second time. Its a great movie, but the relationship between the main characters just reminds me so much of my own mistakes. Seriously though, you should watch it.

While competently acted, the characters, who we think we know and love all around the current entertainment spectrum, simply are wooden hollow shells. There is an effort to relate to them as people with confusing complicated, real world lives, but in the end, it's a talking movie. Nothing noteworthy occurs, but seems to expect such gravitas because it's set around the craft beer movement. I would liken this movie to the first few times in college you got drunk with strangers while having a conversation about politics, everything you hear and say sounds germane and profound while working through that buzz, but ultimately you drift off, easily distracted by a new thought. This movie has style, but little substance once the foam on your beer settles
  • NOT a comedy

I don’t know if there was a single joke in the movie, I mean, other than on the viewer. It was a girl can’t find the right guy and has sexual tension with her best guy friend drama. Not a Comedy. Not even an romcom. Maybe worth renting, but nothing more. I don’t know how many writers the ad department bought off to get this rotten tomato rating up to 83%. It should have been a solid 65%.
