I'm a big fan of 3D and I'm a big fan of the live Cirque shows in Vegas. I saw this video and thought it would be a great combo. I was hoping for more of a behind the scenes look but this was not that. This was an attempt at a full on Cirque story. However it really came off as a long commercial for 3 main shows. O, KA, and love. The scenes from O were great, scenes from KA were good as well. The scenes from Love only made me glad I did not spend 100 or more on the real deal. So I guess in the long run it saved me money. If that was the Best parts of Love..... Then I'll pass. A bunch of Beatles B tracks does not do it for me. I would have much rather seen more from Zumanity, Mystere, and Chris Angel or even the late Elvis show. It was great to see the O theater in 3D , I will give it that. But there is no denying that its a 90 minute commercial. It's like they said " hey, we have this great cast and these cool theaters, isn't there more we can do with it to make a buck?" But if u have seen the real shows it feels very inadequate.

The beginning was slow but picked up quickly. When it got to the middle of the film it got worse and worse. While the acts were beautiful, the plot seemed to be forgotten and quickly remembered. What was the point in putting her in a box?

If you have enjoyed any of Cirque's amazing productions you will love this film. The cinematography is gorgeous and surreal. It's one incredible movie. It's not really a film for the plot though, just mainly visuals.

Because I'm fiscally challenged, attending a Cirque show is not something I can do any time soon. So I'm very grateful for Worlds Away, which is hands-down one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen, a dream-like journey, a phantasmagorical romp through Cirque's Las Vegas shows, from Mystere to O, Ka to Love, with a little Believe and Viva Elvis sprinkled in for good measure. Stitching all the acts together is a love story, where the lovers are separated and seek each other through marvelous and ethereal worlds. There is no dialogue, but the music is exquisite. And I know I can't be the only one who was dying to know what music was used in the Worlds Away trailer. Found out it is called Minor Fantasy (from the album Fantasy 1) by Amphibious Zoo Music. You can download it here on iTunes!

I worked for Cirque and lived with many of the artists for years and I can tell you there is nothing ordinary about what they do. Don't be swayed by those who are too jaded to be touched by the simple beauty and dream-like magic in this film. I would love to see the nay-sayers try to do even one time what these artists do 5 nights a week, 2 shows a night. This is wonderful. Unlike most Cirque shows, this one tells a story...they have found a way to bring many of these shows together. It's a bit like opera...if you can be moved, you will be...otherwise, stick to your movies with explosions, shootings, and car chases. This is very different & makes no excuses or apologies. As for the artists...beautiful work!

Did not keep my interest at all. The performers were great but once you see the first performance, you've seen them all. Not worth $5.99 for a rental
