Description

As the light fades and the city goes to sleep, two forces emerge. They are invisible except for the power they exert over us in our sleep, battling for our souls through dreams. One force delivers hope and strength through good dreams; the other infuses the subconscious with desperation through nightmares. John (Chris Kelly) and Emma (Quinn Hunchar), Father and Daughter are wrenched into this fantastical dream world battle, forced to fight for John's soul and to save Emma from an eternal nightmare. Separate in their journey, they encounter unusual characters that exist only in their subconscious. Or do they? Ink is a high-concept visual thriller that weaves seamlessly between the conscious and the subconscious. Ink has been hailed as the new "it" movie and compared to cult classics Brazil, Donnie Darko, The Matrix, Dark City and Pan's Labyrinth.

Far deeper than any generic action flick, the fact that Winan hasn’t been handed a blockbuster budget from a major studio is criminal.

I'm going to save everyone here a lot of time. It turns out this creature that stole the girl is actually her father. Saw it years ago so forgive me for being so vague. All you have to know is; it's a terrible movie, a waste of money and time, poor acting, poor directing, and "OK" story with a very cheesy moral story at the end. This movie should be removed from iTunes. No one deserves to get suckered into watching this and waste their money. Don't fall for the "100% reviews"

According to other friends (most of my social circle has seen this) you will either love it or hate it. I loved it. I have thought about it a lot since I’ve seen it. For me personally it had a tremendous impact. It’s definitely a little hokey to start out with - independently made - but give it a chance and just go with it. Watch until the end - is worth the time.

Spectacular. Unlike anything I've ever seen. Movie watchers beware the jilted one star reviewer who actually thinks Brazil is a good movie. I do agree there is no comparison though. As in this movie has powerful writing and an actual plot. I doubt Gilliam will ever figure out the importance of those.

This movie makes you think many things about life. It's not one of those mindless films, it makes you stop and think. If you stop, then you may miss something.

With its super cheap video film school esthetics, its unbearable soundtrack, bad acting, bad audio, music clip editing and salvation army costumes, this movie falls nothing short of being a boring as hell nightmare. Whoever compared this movie with the likes of Brazil or Delicatessen, has either not seen those movies or is just plain nuts. Movie watchers beware when the hordes of intellectual film critics gives a film five stars!
