Hey, LaughingGodzilla, weren't you listening when Zira said that the space ship washed up on the shore? that's when they got it. The only reason that this movie didn't get five stars from me is that it's too sad in the end to earn it. All of these shows are just one tragedy after another. seriously, haven't these guys heard of a happy ending? but even so, these are pretty good movies. Strange but good. They teach a good lesson about the horror of war.

Oh boy. This is one that I will have a hard time reviewing. Why? For one thing, Rottentomatoes says that this is 79% fresh, yet Beneath the Planet of the Apes.....a cult classic that has been celebrated and parodied was 41% fresh. Bull. This film is to this series what Superman III was to the Superman series.........just silly. Now, the explanation of how these apes escaped the explosion is beyond me [they used Taylor's spaceship..........even though last time I checked it sank to the bottom of the lake.......what? Did these apes have diving gear or something?!]. I cannot give this film too much of a negative review because of Dr. Charles Forbin.........I mean Eric Braeden's performance and the late Ricardo Montalban's performance in this film. [Seriously, no Khan jokes......I already did one in the title portion of the review]. Another reason I cannot give this one a negative review is that because even though the last two Apes films didn't give any legway of a sequel this one actually gave the chance of sequels....though I enjoy these films I still found them to be kind of pointless.
