Description

Go back in time to a place of magic and dragons, where Barbie stars as Rapunzel. Rapunzel had the most beautiful, radiant hair the world had ever seen. But Rapunzel’s life was far from wonderful. She lived as a servant of Gothel, a jealous, scheming witch who kept her hidden deep in a forbidding forest, guarded by the enormous dragon Hugo and surrounded by an enchanted glass wall. However, in a twist of fate, Rapunzel’s discovery of a magic paintbrush leads her on a journey that will unravel a web of deception, bring peace to two feuding kingdoms, and ultimately lead her to love with the handsome Prince Stefan. She succeeds with the help of Penelope, the least intimidating of dragons! Starring Academy Award winner Anjelica Huston as Gothel and Cree Summer as Penelope. The movie features a song performed by Samantha Mumba and music by the London Symphony Orchestra. Barbie as Rapunzel shows that love and imagination can change the world…

I mean it was pretty good. But it just ain't Barbie's best. For 1 thing,Penelope was sooo cute!!! Also,Hobie&Otto were HILARIOUS!!!! That final scene where Otto was in a chef costume serving Gothel made me LOL sooooo much!!!!! Gothel wasnt as scary as i thought she was, surprisingly. The prince's parts were strraight-up boooooriiiiingggggggggggg!! I had to fast-forward through those!!! The songs were...something. I liked Wish Upon A Star but minos that 1 song they were...err. It was better than Swan Lake,i can tell ya that! Id watch it again sometime but i wouldnt spend money on it. I recommend Barbie Princess Power! And of course Monsters Inc(from Disney Pixar and btw is amazinggg ive seen it 1,000,000 times),and Barbie Spy Squad. And Barbie Mermaidia. And Monsters University(prequel to Monsters Inc,varyyyy good movie),and Barbie Great Puppy Adventure, and Barbie Puppy Chase. And also The Lion King(the best Walt Disney Animation Studios movie OF ALL FREAKIN TIME, BABY!)

I loved the older movies of Barbie because that’s what I grew up with. I’m now 19 and movies like these, bring nostalgia. This will remain one of my favourites and as a classic, it’s a movie that can be rewatched again and again!

As a 20yr old woman, I can confidently say that this is one of my favorite movies ever. I was in kindergarten when I was given this movie on VHS, I watched it so much I'm sure the film is warn out. My favorite Barbie movie by far, and my favorite version of Rapunzel. The music is amazing, and the story line is for sure 12/10. I recommend for kids of all ages! :)

I am 17, and to this day, I still LOVE this movie. Rapunzel, with the support of her sweet, lovable friends - a dragon and a rabbit, uses her love of painting to reconnect to her lost past and to learn the truth of her unfortunate situation. This movie is full of magic, beauty, love, cute humor, and adventure. This magical tale never gets old. I recommend this movie to anybody and everybody. You will walk away from this movie feeling happy and inspired.

One of my favourite Barbie movies in the world!!!!! I'm not joking. I just love the music in this movie to where I wish they could make a movie soundtrack from the movie because it is just wonderfully beautiful and it makes me cry every time I hear it!!! I love how this movie has a great lesson about lying compared with telling the truth. You'll want to watch Barbie as Rapunzel over and over and over again!!!! That's how great, wonderful, and beautiful the movie is!!! You'll never grow annoyed with the movie because it never gets old, ever!!!!!!
