Description

Claire and Phil Foster (Tina Fey and Steve Carell) are a suburban couple slogging through their daily lives and marriage. Even their “date nights” of dinner and a movie have become routine. To reignite the marital spark, they visit a trendy Manhattan bistro, where a case of mistaken identity hurtles them through the city at breakneck speeds, into non-stop adventure. Remembering what made them so special together, Phil and Claire take on a couple of corrupt cops, a top-level mobster – and a crazed cabbie – as their date becomes a night they’ll never forget.

Sat down to take in a comedy with my teenagers and had to turn it off. Don't rot your brain with this waste of time. Yeah, infidelity is really hilarious. So many sexual innuendo's I couldn't gloss over or laugh at any of them.

I read the reviews but thought, how bad can it be with two creative, funny stars. Of course I knew I was selecting on a 'dumb' movie, but it was a lazy Sunday so I thought it would be fun; my expectations were low. Well the reviews were right, this script was terrible. It was a total miss, dumb and yet predictable. I really wish I could get a refund because I could not force myself to watch the movie and hate the idea of my money indirectly 'voting' for this lackluster script.

Tina Fey and Steve Carell were amazing. Jokes= fenominal. Predictable ending, but oh well. Can't even tell you how how much I loved the real-Triplehorn-apartment-break-in scene. Laughed myself hoarse! A must-see, no doubt :-)
