Food, Inc.

I watched this movie when it was first released. Seeing how animals are farmed today is not how animals were intended to be treated. Forced fed, hormones injected to where they grow faster than their bones can develop, living conditions without fresh air, not being able to graze freely. As heartbreaking as it is, I am glad I now know and I became a pescatarian immediately after. It’s been 10 years now and I have this movie to thank for the awareness it provided.

This film showcases the information that the public urgently needs to know and the industry doesn't want them to know. I think it is extremely important for all people to see this movie, to be awakened to the horrid secrets of the food industry. In addition to the important and enlightening information it presents, the film also conveys its points in a very interesting way. Check this movie out!

This movie tells the truth of what you are eating! There are only a few major corporations that control everything you eat! This movie had me astounded! It is a must watch!!!!

I loved this documentary. It was such an eye opener on how the meat is prepared and processed that made me change to buying organic meet only, chicken and beef. I have to say, just like the movie had shown, switching to organic food is more expensive than conventional food. Great movie.

I repeat, EVERYONE needs to see this.

I would rate this as a 5/5. I already knew what the industry is like, but this documentary is eye opening and gets people talking about this social issue, which is how change is brought about. I would recommend this to a friend or family member.

Although my sociology teacher forced me to watch this movie and write this review, the movie was well constructed and delivered constant information and facts conveying the message that the food industry in America is corrupted. The video helped me understand the severity of this condition as a social problem in our nation. The unspeakable side (literally) was put into light and the abuse of not only the animals but the farmers were shown. GMOs and unsanitary farms are revealed under this curtain of mystery in what actually goes into our food. But in a world run on money, these big corporations are almost impervious to the attempts activists have made to stop this corruption. The big bad food industry has everyone, farmers, growers, and everyday people, in their grasp with little hope to escape. But if together society can act against these corporations and buy fresh locally grown food from farmers markets and such then we will slowly but surely chip away at the food inc.'s control. Food, inc educated me more about the corruption of the food industry than I expected it to. I was unaware of most everything that the video talked about, and it definitely opened my eyes. Food, inc. provided incredible information that everyone should be aware of, and it changed my viewpoint on the food my family and I buy and consume. Before viewing the video, I was not even aware of the corruption of the food industry as a social problem. Now I feel very educated and ready to provide my involvement in changing the food industry by purchasing proper, healthy food. This video will change your opinion of the food you intake. I give this documentary 5 stars because it was very informative and eye opening.

This documentary is amazing for our society who do not understand where the meat is coming from and how it has impacted the food industry. It showed varies farmers who's lives have changed because of companies bossing them around and telling them how they should treat their animals. Food, Inc. shows sides of different people and gives out information that no one else really knew about.

Fast food and what it's doing to our country is horrible and it's great that people are taking action
