This is a great movie. I think I watched it like twice. The acting was great and the story was good. A prefect movie to watch around the holidays.

This is a good movie around the holidays. I watched it on Christmas Eve. I enjoyed the movie. Great acting. Storyline fit. Just a movie that is for the holidays. Maybe not the most cheerful movie of all time but still I good one. Check it out.

I think seasonal films should be feel-good movies that remind us of what's truly important in life. For me, this film delivered.

Really enjoyed this movie, and I plan to watch it each year during Christmas time.

I give this 4 stars because the movie is a little cheesy and is a little off base from the real world. In general I thought it was a very sweet story. It has star studded cast (including Robin Williams!) who all do a great job, especially Susan Sarandon (has she ever been terrible?). This is a heartfelt movie about the importance of love and kindness. It may make you cry but overall, I think it will leave you smiling. I don't have kids yet but I know this is the kind of movie I would love to share with them and I'm sure as a child I would have loved watching this with my mother.

Never watched it myself, but the guy in the bandana who gives directions to Susan Suranden is my english teacher!

I'm not sure how this got in the "KIDS & FAMILY" category, and I don't know how it was rated PG (should be PG-13), so if you're looking for a family Christmas movie - THIS AIN'T IT!! It's a pretty good film - but from the plot summary description and rating...you may be thinking it's appropriate to "gather round & watch with the fam" - NOT IN MY OPINION!! But for an older audiance looking for something that isn't a typical Christmas movie - you may enjoy this!

The performances in this movie are all excellent. Like many dramas, this movie contains several characters whose lives are intertwined over Christmas. Penelope Cruz is always lovely to look at and she brings great depth to her character. Paul Walker is uncharacteristically vulnerable and both Alan Arkin and Susan Sarandon are superb!! Expect a little magic this Christmas or watch this film to make any day Christmas and A DAY TO REMEMBER! Sweet, sad, heart breaking and uplifting. I'm sure you'll enjoy this movie and want to share it with those you love!

this movie was ten times better then i exapected. It really did shock me and changed me in a good way, it'll make you cry and happy it really is a very powerful piece.
