Great little romcom about discovering yourself along the way and how we kinda get lost on the journey. Love the dialogue ESP from Mary, a cruciverbalist. Never knew there was so many ways to say the simplest things. Bet the ending will surprise you, doesn't develop the way you think the story will develop at all. This is not your mental daily workout movie but looking for a small break from reality? Sandra makes her character so believable that you'll be howlin in no time.

People laugh when I tell them my favorite movie is All About Steve. But honestly, I don't care because I just love the whole story (whether some people argue that it has a plot or not). I don't know I just love some of the morals it has & the fact that in the end Mary realizes that you don't need to sell yourself out or make yourself different or try too hard for a guy to like you. She just sticks with her friends, as awkward and as crazy as they might be. "We have a tendency to fill empty spaces." :) Great movie and worth a watch!

Sure, it's not the best script ever, but the film is hilarious. In that sort of 80's-movie way, the actors own their roles (however feeble those roles may be) and keep the good times rollin. It's funny and tender, and if you dig awesomely bad movies, you'll dig this one as much as I did.

Underestimated Movie! Loved it when I saw it and have converted people who let the bad reviews influence them! Fun movie, about being who you are and not what others want you to be. Loved it!!

If you're looking for a poorly written movie with no plot whats so ever and a derange sense of actual comedy, look no further

I am a 40 year old professional female. Sandra Bullock's acting is, as usual, outstanding. This is not a movie about metal illness. This is a movie about a unique strong woman who ultimately realizes what is important in life….and it ain't a man! Perhaps that is why all the male reviewers hated it so much. This is a fun movie that will make you laugh and cry. The moral is simply to love and be yourself. Now if you will excuse me I am going to put my red boots back on….
  • The meaning.

This movie may be wacko and you may think "oh its stupid" because she got a Razzi for this movie, but as she said in her speech, "watch it again" and you'll know the true meaning. Be yourself, no matter what. That's why I love this movie and think you will too.
