A good movie to wrap up 1990s horror. Not perfect but very entertaining and Famke is just beautiful.

I actually really enjoyed this remake. The effects were great and the plot was good. My only complaint was that the trailer gave away some surprises.
I saw the original as well, and while this film's plot is nearly entirely different, I still enjoyed it, as I prefer remakes that add something new and build around the original plot.

Overall it was very good. The acting and affects were very well executed.๐ Although the main title looks up to promising movie it could have been better.๐The sequel was a waste and they could of made it so much better. ๐Would of been a Oscar winner if Vincent Price was in it.๐ Very well worth the money๐๐

I was appauled to see that they ATTEMPTED to remake an American classic! The directors took a story that had an absolutely amazing plot and twist and completely destroyed it! Vincent Price would rol over in his grave if he saw this!!

What makes a good horror film isn't some scary images strung together and loosely thrown at the skeleton of a great classic camp horror vehicle like the original Vincent Price film. A great suspense or horror film has to make sense in its own world in order for you to suspend belief and go along for the ride. There are so many holes in this mess that the entire film becomes disjointed and so disappointing. You can far better spend your money on the original. Or try the original Vincent Price take on "I Am Legend," the wonderfully dark "Last Man on Earth." Or try the original and troubling "Last House on the Left" and see what these modern gag-reflex remakes are missing. Save your money.
