One of the best with great actors

NEIGHBORS: Funny as heck and 100 percent unpredictable, this celebration of rampant insanity is basically one big cartoon, complete with the goofiest incidental music ever—a cartoon soundtrack featuring an eerie theramin, a moaning trombone, and minor variations on the “Twilight Zone” and “Looney Tunes” themes. The action all takes place within about 24 hours—but it’s certainly the strangest day in Earl’s life; one that subverts everything he ever thought he knew and shatters every illusion of “normality” he’s ever believed in. The dialog is hilarious; the relationships, as odd as the music; the action, a bad acid trip. Rent this one for its cartoon looniness and unrepentant insanity, and for the inspired decision to cast the boys against type.

This movie is super funny. One thing that did bug me throughout the whole film was Dan's blonde hair and blue eyes. Ahhhhh I hated that. I love this movie and glad I got it, or I would have missed out on something great!

This is a really bad movie, with really bad acting. Calling it ¨cult¨ is an insult to real cult classics. You can´t just call cult movies movies that no one likes but the actors mother. It´s boring, pointless and not even funny. I do not recommend at all.

Come on!! Belushi, Aykroyd!?! They were magic together. I will admit this movie may not appeal to everyone. But to those who do get it, they know, and to those who don't get it, there is no way to explain it. If you have not seen it, watch it with no expectations, if thats possible. Just keep and open mind. Try to remember when things in your life were not so complicated and everything was not so serious. I loved this movie when it came out, and today it makes me smile and reminds me of better times.

This movie might have been mildly funny when it was made, but it is stultifying now. I got about 1/3 of the way through it and began wishing to get back each minute I was spending watching it. The pacing was much too slow, the humor was shallow and infantile, the characters were idiotic. In good comedy (think "Young Frankenstein") you find yourself caring about at least one of the characters. In this mess, not one of them had a single redeeming quality. In "Ghost Busters" you cheered for Aykroyd to win despite his haughty nonsense. In this film, you cheer for a meteor to strike them all down -- anything to let you get on with your life. If you want to see Belushi's comic genius shine, see "Animal House", not this flabby, poorly written, poorly directed muck.

This is not a good movie. Not funny, no story, bad acting. I'm a fan of Belushi, but this is clearly not his best work. Don't bother.

The genius of this movie is that Belushi is the normal one, not Dan. It has always been an all time favorite, and I'm overjoyed that is available somewhere, somehow. Looks like ITunes caved to people's complaints and made it available at a fair price. What a find!

This was one of the most boring, stupid, rediculous movies I've ever seen! Do NOT rent it! Its not even worth the .99 cent price tag!

I don't know why so many people liked it. I hated it. I only watched it half way; I guess others liked it because of the actors? Not worth your time.
