I’m on a kick watching what are considered the best movies of all time. Sometimes the lists/polls are really right and sometimes not so. This was really right. Someone else commented that this should be a pre requisite for jury duty and I agree 100%. The movie had funny moments without bringing you out of the drama and got you really thinking about morals in an incredibly engaging way. The acting was superb from all 12 men and the dialogue was excellent. Epic scene=silent disagreement with the raging classist (classist=prejudice against or in favor of a particular social class). Watch it!!!!!

12 Angry Men is a gorgeous masterpiece beyond that missing puzzle piece of murder court room dramas but this film is excellent and has the best performences and cinematopgraphy in any other movie out there. The actors get head to head in this thrilling court room drama that works and the actors are fantastic. But more importanly this film is following the anger mangement class of this 12 men facing anger and trying to work together it's genius!

I am a graduate student. Had to watch this movie for my organizational behavior class and I must tell you it became my favorite old movie of all time. I love the dynamic of different opinion in the room, different world view of each of the jurors. The whole movie happens in a room and boy you get every bit of suspense of a thriller. Great watch!

The fact it was shot entirely in one room and still comes off as epic is a feat in itself. Great movie.

The angry man gets super angry, then everything gets settled and the movie ends.

It is old and sometimes just a little strained, but it holds up. I will watch it every 2-3 years and enjoy it every time.
  • Really a great movie.

Superb acting, (Lee J. Cobb in particular) superb writing, and superb direction, although not gripping for the whole time. It's definitly worth seeing though.
