Description

Rob Reiner's romantic comedy documents a very unusual couple. There's never been a friendship quite like Harry and Sally's. From faking an orgasm at the corner deli, to debating the odds of having great sex with a guy named "Sheldon", there's nothing Harry and Sally don't do together. Well, almost nothing…. At the start, they are two recent college graduates who meet while sharing a ride together from Chicago to New York. They decide that it is impossible for men and women to be "just friends," and when they reach The Big Apple, they go their separate ways. Several years later they happen to be seated next to each other on an airplane, and Harry tells Sally about his recent marriage…and several years later, in another random meeting, he relays his divorce…when they become close friends…so close that their respective best friends fall in love. At a climactic New Years Eve party, they finally must confront and embrace their true feelings for each other.

No Harry conick JR. His Music is totally replaced with boring elevator music. Apple is selling a fraudulent version. They know they are because the music was remove because of licensing issues. Don’t but this version. If you’re a fan of the actual movie, You’ll hate it too.

Just to let people know the music issue you see in other reviews seem to have been resolved. This now has the original music.

The original soundtrack of this movie is part of the reason why this was the best romatic comedies of all time. HOWEVER, itunes has replaced most of the beautiful soundtrack with boring instrumental elevator music. Do NOT buy this movie on iTunes!!! Go buy the DVD

What happened to the music on this? A lot of the classic music was replaced by crappy music. For example at the end when Harry is wandering the city on New Year's Eve reminiscing about Sally, the orginial version and the DVD had Frnk Sinatra singing "It Had To Be You". Now there is some schmaltzy instrumental in place of Old Blue Eyes. It pulled me right out of the moment. There are many other songs that have been replaced, but this one is the worst.

Buyer beware! The music is not the fabulous music you remember. The original music was like an additional character, and without it, the movie falls flat.

this is the kinda film where you have to know the location to understand the characters. In this case, if you’v lived for any length of time in New York City you get their insecurities, anxiety and the fear of being alone in a city of millions. and while chemistry is everything in these slightly sickly sweet films of boy meets girl… over and over again, when it comes right down to it, Sleepless in Seattle did a much better job telling the story of two people falling in love.
