In the cabin, the four buddies hold "Dream Catcher Net" tightly, but they don't know that the captured objects are far beyond their control! This horror masterpiece is based on Stephen King’s best-selling novel. It tells how the heroic deeds of four young people and the superpowers that follow have changed their lives. Time flies, the four young men have grown up long ago and met to hunt in the jungles of Maine, but were trapped by the snowstorm! The wind and clouds change color, and in the ice and snow, there are ominous things about to move...The four are determined to prevent alien forces from invading the earth, but they must first save innocent people from being slaughtered by the military and police, and then overcome the instigation and separation faced by brotherhood! At the end of the story, the buddies face unprecedented panic, and the human world is also hanging by a thread!

  • A mess but often exciting and clever

This is a wildly uneven mess, but it a has very likable cast of leads (but an uncharacteristically scenery chewing Morgan Freeman sporting some comically ridiculous eye brows), some very clever touches (like one character’s library safe place in his mind he retreats to when he’s possessed) and enough weird turns to keep things interesting. This is a polarizing movie but as an expensive b flick it manages to be both intentionally and unintentionally entertaining.

Y'all are kidding, right? Terrible screen adaptation of King's worst book ever. Geeze! No stars for this movie. Wait, second worst screen adaptation. Number one is definitely The Stand; amazing book, utterly horrible film or mini-series or whatever that thing was. Regardless, this is a ridiculous movie, go watch Tommyknockers instead.

This is a good movie that however lacks the depth of the book. Other than that a good adaptation.
  • Excellent Thriller

This movie falls in line with greats like Carpenters 'The Thing' It was suspenseful, and well filmed. You felt the cold, and fear.
