I have seen this movie 2 or 3 times, as it is very emotionally charged and poignant. Major props to Hanks & Washington who not only embraced their roles, but did so with raw emotion and superb acting. This is a must see movie.

Philadelphia is so much more than about a man with AIDS, it draws the viewer to the way he/she treats those with it. Yes it's a controversial film, but one that just shouldn't be ignored. i love this movie, Tom Hanks and Denzel Washinton were great here as was the supporting cast. At the very least rent this, a fair warning it is very emotional but that justs puts more meaning into the story for me.

Hanks and Washington were great acting wise. This movie impacted evey single perso who watched it and still leaves a lasting feeling.

You know, when people talk about this film they always mention how contraversial and taboo it is. And I cannot deny them that. But they always forget to mention how good it is. Watch it, you'll love it! A movie full of life; bursting with humor, love, endearment, and sorrow. Philadelphia cannot be missed! :)

Loved The Movie From Beginning To End. My Government Teacher Showed Us This Film To Learn About The Disability Law. But This Became One of My Favorite Movies. Great Acting As Well.
