This is only the first installment, half the story, but I fervently hope they will produce the final, and maybe even an intermediate prequel somewhere between the original story and this one. Casting, sets, character and plot development , acting are all excellent. Best of all the psychological developments of the two protagonists, Victor and his first, engaged in the never-ending dance of light versus the darkness. I fear that the sequel and prequel may never be made, but despite that, this film leaves all the possibilities lingering deliciously in your mind, refreshing the themes that made Shelly's original work a classic.

OK, I liked the dark resonant horror, the gritty camera work, the poor sound recording.... BUT.... I think iTunes as usual screws you yet again by NOT saying this is not the complete movie, only Part 1 and there ain't no Part 2. So the story just stops without a conclusion, without the bloody ending in sight.... frack me, can't I do itunes under the trade description act?
  • Not bad, but.....

I liked this movie. I love dean koontz. One of the best fiction writers out there. The only problem with this movie was that it was too short. It's 3 books long with an amazing twist on the Frankenstein story. There is is just so much left out. And the way it ends leaves you hangin... And I doubt any more movies will be made.
  • It was not bad at all!

I liked this tale of Frankenstein because it was different from every other tale. If you like horror movies you'll like this one for sure.
