Description

From the makers of Coraline comes the story of Norman, a boy who must use his ability to see and speak with the dead to save his town from a centuries-old curse. In addition to spooky zombies, he’ll also have to take on mysterious ghosts, wily witches and, worst, of all, clueless grown-ups. But this young ghoul whisperer will soon find his paranormal abilities pushed to their otherworldly limits. Featuring the voice talents of Kodi Smit-McPhee, Anna Kendrick, Casey Affleck, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Leslie Mann, Jeff Garlin and John Goodman, it’s a frightfully funny and magically thrilling adventure for the whole family in eye-popping stop-motion.

A free 4K upgrade would have been nice but since I love Laika’s style I will happily pay to upgrade their movies. Plus, ParaNorman is one of the best Halloween movies out there.

Feels inspired by the best 90s movies but with a modern twist. Worth having in your collection with beautiful animation.

I didn’t get to see ParaNorman when it was released in theaters back in 2012, but I did watch some of the film on TV a year later. I was intrigued by the stop motion and plot. In a way, I felt like I was Norman, with obsession with horror and zombies in way. Definitely a much watch every Fall season. In other news… Now, I did purchase this film already through iTunes but since it got a 4K upgrade, I think I might have to purchase again. It didn’t update like the rest of movies that I already own to 4K. iTunes needs to fix that problem of updating our already own titles if there has been an upgrades
