Description

Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in THE KING’S MAN. A group of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds, including Rasputin (Rhys Ifans), has gathered to plot a mercenary war that will wipe out millions of innocent people across the world. Enter Kingsman, the world’s very first independent intelligence agency. Sworn to operate at the highest levels of ethics and discretion, the lethal, impeccably trained spies use an elite haberdashery business as a front for the organization. Dedicated to stopping the imminent carnage, Kingsman founding member, the Duke of Oxford (Ralph Fiennes), recruits a protégé, Conrad (Harris Dickinson), to join the organization and help set history on a more positive course. Directed by Matthew Vaughn and starring a stellar cast, including Gemma Arterton, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Daniel Brühl, with Djimon Hounsou and Charles Dance, THE KING’S MAN is an exhilarating chapter in the Kingsman franchise.

Movie made no sense at all, was super weird the entire time and was a waste of my day. Glad at least I saw it on HBO Max.

I enjoyed this installment of the Kingsman Saga. The action sequence choreographed to the Overture of 1812 was in my opinion the piece de resistance of the film, just beautifully shot and timed with the music. I wish it had a little more humor in it (like it’s predecessors) and I think Gemma Arterton’s character was underutilized, but overall it was a enjoyable film that I will enjoy watching again in the future.
  • I Really Wanted to Like This, But…

This was a really bad movie. Inane and cruel. The movie opens with a little boy witnessing his mother being shot and killed. A few minutes later, Rasputin drugs a child. No thanks. I had to stop watching when His Grace was eating dinner with Rasputin. That scene was over the top vulgar…almost as if Judd Apatow directed it. It takes too long for it to finally get to the King’s Man organization. This movie lacks the enjoyment and finesse of the first movie. It takes a lot of nerve for them to put this movie in this franchise. I will never watch this movie again.

  • Best Kingsman Movie Yet

This was one of the best movies of the year. Do not listen to the majority of critics. They just hate it because it’s not woke and it doesn’t fictionalize history. This accurately portrays several historical events and really makes you feel the gravity of WW1. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and it’s characters. I really hope they decide to make another prequel focusing on these founding members of Kingsman. Ralph Fiennes was excellent as the protagonist, and he is definitely one of my favorite actors. The rest of the cast was perfect as their respective characters, and Rhys Ifans as that Russian creep Rasputin was unforgettably hysterical. Overall, this is an easy 9 out of 10. Again, ignore the so-called professional critics. This was an amazing and fun movie that I could watch again and again.

okay, we all know that any movie with the KING ralph fiennes is going to be good, and it was. the plot was easy to follow (i guess some people just don’t pay attention during the movie???) and the historical accuracy was just *chefs kiss*. fight scenes were good, n but there wasn’t much humor. i loved how they made the main female character wear barely any makeup because literally no one *spolier alert* wears eyeshadow mascara and eyeliner while shooting down guards from a mold laden shed.

This movie is not like the rest of the Series , it's kinda missing the humor. BUT if your a history lover, this movie is awesome . Liked the time period , the action and the way WW1 was in a nutshell depicted.
  • Horrible plot

This movie is the first one when I assign one star for plot. The story is horrible. The King's Man kills main character in the same way Terminator 5 kills John Connor. Just because. No point, no sense, no respect for viewers. A huge middle finger to audience. I would give it zero stars if possible.

This movie deviated from the original upbeat and humor of the first two. It was loaded with needless scenes, attempts at drama, and a poor finish. Poorly directed and edited.
