  • The Ending!

The ending...needs work. We finially get to see the werewolf--the thing discussed through most of the film--and it's a disappointment. Expand beyond the human form and show us the beast that has been terrorizing the community. In its current state, it seems lazy. Aside from this, I enjoyed the actors and fun dialogue.
  • It was pretty good.

Political agendas aside the movie was solid. Im obsessed with anything werewolf based so my opinion is biased. I think the film was taking jabs at political correctness which I found hilarious. Jokes were on point to me. I saw influences from other movies, like Hot Fuzz, in the film, that I LOVED and I do believe it fit the film well. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with borrowing or being inspired by certain elements and adopting them into your own film. 10/10 for me, for the type of movie it was. I don’t think people should look too deep into this film and go over the top nitpicking, this isn’t a marvel movie or a blockbuster film. Just a fun watch. RELAX.

I really enjoyed this movie. All the characters were caricature exaggerations of what you often find in small towns. Dialogue was witty bordering on absurd. The female lead was awesome and totally fun to watch.
  • Great film. Not to be taken serious

The film is worth a watch. It isn’t a serious film. After reading so many negative reviews that seem to mirror each other on how much they hate the politics, it’s a movie. If you are literally picking up your political views from movies you watch, negative or positive, I bet you believe everything you read on Facebook too, which is not a news outlet by the way. Watch a film about werewolves because you want to watch a work of fiction about werewolves. Know that the disclaimer about the characters not being real at the end credits is still there so you don’t have to get your political onesy in a bunch about someone offending your views, or you should take a hard pass on this and watch something else.
  • Milana and Sam steal the show

This is a delightfully fun movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Milana Vayntrub and Sam Richardson are phenomenal in their roles. They play off each other so well, and the little one-liners interspersed throughout the movie, espaecially from Milana, are hilarious. For example, when Cecily wants to leave Finn's place and she says, "Thank you for your time, we'll get out of your beard." As for the rest of the cast, George Basil is particularly brilliant as Marcus. My favorite line from him: "Well it looks like we have some unknown knowns, and some known unknowns." My only quibble is that the Trish character was a bit overdone, but it wasn't enough of a problem to take away from my enjoyment of the movie. If you're looking for true horror, this isn't the movie for you, but for light entertainment, I thoroughly recommend this.
  • Starts off good and ends kind of Meh…

Could have been better if the writers focused on comedy and laid off the wokeness.
  • Liberal agenda pushing

I wish I could just watch a movie or show without constant man hating, privilege pushing, or liberal politics being shoved down my throat. Movies are meant to escape from reality, especially horror, but it seems Hollyweird is dead set on angry venting and forcing their beliefs on all their viewers instead of just making a film.

Fun movie. Reminded me a bit of Knives Out - everybody is dysfunctional and anybody could be a killer.

Stared good. But then ended badly. Thought it was going to have great depth but even for scifi/ horror/ comedy this is a one off I wish I never watched.
