If you sit back and not think too hard about what’s happening, it’s a really entertaining movie. You can’t take this one too seriously. If you’re able to do that, you’ll enjoy it. Without spoilers, there’s a lot of unrealistic scenarios. We’ll just leave it at that. Regardless, Joel Kinnaman has great screen presence. Ana de Armas is a great actress and unfortunately she was underutilized. It’s definitely worth a rent.

Very well done. Movie should have been longer. Certain things could have been expanded on. This is just my opinion or it could be that I liked the movie so much that I didn’t want it to end

WHat happened to the general? The whole movie pplot just faded away into a soppy nothing. The main bad guy just disappears....no ending to this silly film! Wste of time. Shame!

Why is the price in iTunes often 2-3 dollars more to rent then the Google Play price. Ridiculous.

Powerful drama with an superb cast, you'll be drawn to the story of corruption and crime. Well worth it, I'd watch "The Informer" again.

This was a good movie with a great cast. Joel Kinnamen is picking good roles, and can absolutely be a lead in a feature. ‘Altered Carbon’ season 1 and now this, I look forward to what he does next. There is a lot of story that is crammed into this flick. It does it at the cost of some character depth. But, this doesn’t mean that one can’t catch up and fill in some blanks. The suspense and build up of the tension worked. It is a great take, showing the dirty side of big institutions like the FBI, Police, and Federal Corrections Facilities. When you can see them being just as bad as organized crime, it is a scary reminder of the helpless people that get steam rolled by these institutions all the time. It’s not ‘The Departed’ but I will recommend it to my friends.

Very boring and overpriced movie. Main actor does a poor job of portraying the character and ends up looking phony and uncool. Should have casted a stronger lead.
