This documentary packs tons of information into a very inspiring format! I feel that it did a good job relaying the urgency of the situation, but also gave me hope.

This is a must-see movie of 2020. I don't write often reviews as usually I am not compelled enough to do so. However, upon watching Takeout it moved me enough to write a few words. It's a well-documented story of why we have lost so much of the Amazon Rainforest in the past 30 years. In fact, 20% of it is already gone. It goes into the current situation on policies, government, and corporate corruption that ultimately is the result of tremendous devastation. On average 200,000 acres are burned daily. I had no idea how feeding livestock requires so much soy crops to sustain our human demand for meat products, as this subject is not widely discussed. The movie director, Michal Siewierski not only presents the issue but interviews different scientists that offer a solution, and I am glad to see that in a movie. As a father, I care about the future of our planet for myself and the next generation... I believe awareness is the very first step in solving any issue. Therefore if you care for the future of next-generation, you owe it to your self to become more aware. And the final thought that often gets unnoticed. Because of exposing the truths that often are inconvenient for the multibillion-dollar business, anyone involved in producing such a movie takes out huge risks. We should be all grateful that there are people out there that are committed to bringing such issues to the daylight. This movie is truly A+ work and a must-see...

This film was eye opening and insightful into the true causes of the Amazon rainforest destruction and how it relates and connects to global issues. This in-depth investigative coverage filled a large hole in the marketplace into the true reasons why all the degradation of the rainforest is really happening, what's causing it, who's behind it, and how to stop it! A film that goes this much into the honest details does not exist on this topic. Truly insightful and ground-breaking. This should be in every household and in every school classroom.

Just watched this film and had the whole family watch. It really was well done and put together well, easily watched and able to explain to others. We all can do our part. Even if it’s making choices to reduce. The movie never said you have to give it up. We all need to take a look at what we are leaving for our children in the future. We all need to take care of the earth. We only get ONE of HER. Great job Michal

A great production highlighting an obscure side effect of the massive agricultural market. Frightening and educational, highly recommended!
