Description

Six years ago, Michael Myers terrorized the town of Haddonfield, Illinois. He and his niece, Jamie Lloyd, have disappeared. Jamie was kidnapped by a bunch of evil druids who protect Michael Myers. And now, six years later, Jamie has escaped after giving birth to Michael's child. She runs to Haddonfield to get Dr. Loomis to help her again. Meanwhile, the family that adopted Laurie Strode is living in the Myers house and are being stalked by Myers. It's the curse of Thorn that Michael is possessed by that makes him kill his family. And it's up to Tommy Doyle, the boy from Halloween, and Dr. Loomis, to stop them all.

I hated this film when I was younger but it's grown on me now that I own it on digital. If you like slasher movies, you will at the very least find it entertaining. Solid kills, some creepy/classic Michael moments and Donald Pleasance's last film before his passing ... its a solid entry in the franchise and honestly I prefer the first 6 to the more recent trilogy that retconned everything. Also not taking sides here but personally, I prefer the theatrical to the director's cut.

Talk about overpriced! Also, don't buy the Theatrical Cut (which is this), buy the Producer's Cut instead. Granted, the Producer's Cut isn't very good either, but it's definitely an improvement over this garbage. Also, Jhalo doesn't know what they're talking about, the ending for the Producer's Cut makes more sense, and doesn't have a horrible erupt ending.

this movie was the last one that was made that stayed with the original story. between so made ownerships of the names changing hands, so many script rewrites, so many different directors and even companys, the story actually turned out better than what they had planned. So I was the perfect age for what they were selling this story to (i was born in 1980), and i ate this stuff up. I hated Jason and Freddy was just absolutely ridiculous to me. Michael had it all! Pure evil put it to him, and he just couldnt stop til he completed his mission. If u google what all they were gonna go with, this wasnt so bad, so if u all think this was stupid or cheesy, just go read what they were gonna do! Like i said before, this was the final actual nail in the proverbal coffin to the actual story for the first film I would say. So watch 1, 2, 4, 5, and this to get the full story.

Buy this version the theatrical cut. don’t listen to that person who suggested you guys buy the producers cut . God no stick with the theatrical it’s much better the producers cut has a boring ending. Forget that person who said that.

Not the best odd performances but the kills are bloody and unique and kinda like the cult storyline though not a fan of micheal Myers being a puppet undercuts the lore of micheal
