How can a crew/director bodge a good story? Look at the movie. Cheap prop, cheap cutting, cheap setting, cheap acting. Such a shame.

The clown looks so cool the rest of the movie is like me using my iPhone to make the movie looked so fake and the acting was so bad I would rather watch a school
