Like its non-aerodynamic title characters, The Angry Birds Movie 2 takes improbable yet delightfully entertaining flight, landing humorous hits along the way.

It wasn't a bad sequel. It could've been fine without a few parts, but when it comes to early 20s people watching modern kids films (because I grew up with Angry Birds), YMMV on certain things. The introduction of new characters was interesting, it had a neat plot, we got some lore, and the humor isn't dry. Jones and Haddish as voice actresses got a bit annoying after a while. The saying is still true today: VAs are better VAs than celebrities, and celebrities are better VAs than anyone on SNL. It seems they also spent 60% of the budget on the film itself and 40% on song licensing. The first film did have a few but this one had 4-5 short songs in about 10 minutes. Now I know why Luke Combs' song didn't get as much popularity as it deserved—it was halfway through the credits.
