This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever watched. So hard to watch. It was well written, acted and directed. Such a heart and gut wrenching reenactment of a devastating occurrence.

Undoubtedly, one of the finest films that I have viewed in some time. The acting was incredible, the visual effects all too real, the action non stop.

This was very good but painful to watch. It is a crystal clear reason why law biding citizens should have the right carry arms for protection. These people as well as local police were completely at the mercy of these terrorists. This was proof why the 2nd amendment is needed and more citizens should be carrying their weapons.

I have been looking forward to seeing this movie for months and it is really unfortunate that this movie didn’t receive an extended theatrical run. When you do a movie based on true events, it’s a delicate tap dance to be true to the source material yet not be too intense for audiences. While I would have like to have seen more off-screen shootings as opposed to in in some cases, showing victims of the attack being mown down, there is an authenticity about this piece that required the savagery of the terrorists in the film to be on full display. I am trusting the director that this is what happened and that the violence is not indeed gratuitous. He treats the terrorists as slaves to a horrific ideology and it angers me to no end that the masterminds behind this horrific attack in Mumbai have never been found. About the acting: it’s simply exceptional from top to bottom. Dev Patel continues to establish himself as one of the best Indian actors of his generation as a family man who finds himself in the middle of this horrific series of events. Armie Hammer brings raw energy to the role of a father who will do anything to save his newborn son from annihilation. Moreover, the supporting cast is phenomenal. From the servants to the hotel staff and to the supremely overwhelmed members of the police force, there’s never a false note. There’s never a caricature. I hope this film will be revived in time for an Oscar push. In my mind, this is so far the best movie of 2019.

Was good toward the end when they got in to battle with the cops. But it was so fake. Three guys taking on over 50 cops and like hundreds of people. Come on now. Makes no sense just seems fake to me.

Nice.....managed to skip “boring” to oddly thrilling reality ; less of an act, more of “reality’.

This is a horrific story about evil. Innocent people being slaughtered in the name of what, religion? What’s the point? Jealousy? Money? Uneducated children with machine guns manipulated into killing innocent people. Shocking and appalling.
