It is a fantastic movie, set in the Post War, but it deals with an eternal theme: communication between couples. You have to see it carefully to understand and not see it superficially. Keira is fabulous as always.

Beautiful movie and yet again another one starring Keira Knightly to be added to my favorites. I, for the first time feel you get to see the talent and great acting skills of Jason Clarke and also Alexander Skarsgård whom for the first time, in my eyes get the movie roles they deserve. These two deserve to get bigger roles. Well done and beautiful movie. I only remove one star for the, in my mind lack of conversation in between the actors. It creates, again in my own opinion, too much of a quite stillness that feels a bit slow throughout. Very good movie how ever.

Not sure if we all watched the same movie but this picture was just not worth the money or time. I really wanted to learn and enjoy about this part of history but alas, just like the emotional arc of the characters, I was left trying to piece together the puzzling motivations of all involved both in front and behind the camera.

This ia a romance, one of the best I've seen in some time. Rotten tomatoes must be getting tired.

Not the best movie ever but I saw it in my flight home and enjoyed it. The ending wasn’t what I expected but it tied everything well enough.

I don't normally, like romantic movies. But I did love ,this one because it showed sexiness and human nature at it's finest. I will definitely be buying the movie! It's one of my few new favorites.

This was a great film, poignant, and moving. A very absorbing film. I laughed in disbelief at the ridiculus Rotten Tomatoes reviews. The performances of the actors and the relationships between them against the backdrop of a destroyed Germany when the bitterness of the war is still very much alive is what the film centers on. Well worth seeing.
