And there is one scene, almost midway through the movie, that scared me like nothing scared since the exorcist

The movie was good, but that ending has got to go. Completely random. Hopefully there’s a sequel.

This movie is pretty crazy. It is not that bad. Needed but never got it. Everything failed. What to do when you try to save somebody. It can be a real ride with danger. Check this out.

The plot of this film is interesting, and while it does pay homage to other classics of the genre at times, it nevertheless departs at key moments from what you would expect. The acting across-the-board is quite good; it’s the type of movie that concerns itself with being a good film rather than a good horror flick. The jump-scares are certainly startling, the creepiness is effective and the young, waifish antagonist is ultimately convincing in his menace. I enjoyed it. 👍🏻

It all comes down to absolutely nothing gets solved after all the craziness the family has to go through with their son. Unless there’s a sequel that’ll answer some questions I’m left with, it’s a waste of time and money. Really wanted to like it:(
