Was able to see this film with my movie pass, and it was absolutely amazing. It has the best writing, acting, and production since Chef. 10/10

I was so excited for this movie ... until I watched it. This movie was not good. It jumped around way too much, which made it extremely hard to follow, much less care about the characters. Telling it from the sons point of view was a bad idea. It’s not memorable in any sense. If you want to see a good Gotti movie, watch the Armand Assante version. It’s much better than this.

Not sure why people hate this movie so much? i thought it was very entertaining, not many details were off of the true story, however i will say Travolta acted much more naturally intimidating than Gotti would in the media.. but regardless of any minor inconsistencies i thought it was a very enjoyable movie, and i had no problem keeping up with the timeline as it jumped around.

I don't see why the critics are trashing this movie. In my opinion this was a solid portrayal of John Gotti. I can see why people say it's confusing because the film does jump back & forth between Gotti in his prime to his last days in prison. Overall I was able to understand the story. The acting was done very well, John Travolta nails his role as Gotti. I did not find a moment where I was bored with this film. This is not as good as Goodfellas or the Godfather, but Gotti is Gangster movie/Biopic worth watching. I do wish Apple would put up the 1996 Gotti movie to buy, that version is brilliant!

I though this film was very, very good. John Travolta was phenominal in it and everything made sense and didn't seem out of place. There were some very emotional parts and I was completely sucked in. Did not laugh once like the other reviews said I would. Not really sure why other people didn't like it to be honest.

I like John Travolta, he played his part well . It is shameful that Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 0%. I’d say it’s worth a watch and, a percentage of some number.

Did someone forget to hire an editor who knew how to assemble footage? The going back and forth without any particular process was unforgivable. As for the sound recording and editing, a message to the producers, hire someone who knows how to record effective dialog in a manner where it is not drown out by the incesant need to play every song from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. In many places you could not hear the dialog because it was much lower in volume than the music. As for the acting, a high school group could have done a better job with the acting. The actors walked through the roles without any believability. Everybody associated with this production should be ashamed for such trash. They did not do the Gotti family any favors with this portrayal.

Almost inconceivable that a movie can be this bad . . . literally. . . . without even a single redeeming quality.

it is true, there was literally a hit put out on this movie. and this was done because the industry absolutely hates moviepass and the threat MP poses. Well, this was MPs first venture into movie production. Ever since comcast purchased fandango, and fandango purchased rotten tomatoes, you could no longer trust reviews. Talk about free speech consolidation. Anyhow, now reviews are biased and/or paid for. They are now all inside jobs. As seen with the attack on this movie, which worked. this is a very good movie that lands just outside the mark of "must see."
