Description

Following their Lovecraftian modern cult classic SPRING, acclaimed filmmakers Moorhead and Benson return with this mind-bending thriller that follows two brothers who receive a cryptic video message inspiring them to revisit the UFO death cult they escaped a decade earlier. Hoping to find the closure that they couldn't as young men, they're forced to reconsider the cult's beliefs when confronted with unexplainable phenomena surrounding the camp. As the members prepare for the coming of a mysterious event, the brothers race to unravel the seemingly impossible truth before their lives become permanently entangled with the cult.

I love this film. Twisting, interesting, constant rly folding into new material and atmosphere. The characters are pitched perfectly. I can’t wait for more films from this duo.

In some cases, the lowbudget and DIY feel of a movie can be real distracting. But I feel like it actually benefits this kind of sequel to "Resolution," which you should probably watch before this. I liked Resolution for its inventiveness. This movie is kind of like what you might get if you had more than $50 to spend on supporting actors, location, and special effects. It's not a high-budget film. But it's really appealing as a horror film and really fits into the lovecraftian tradition. These are filmmakers who understand how to make a good film in spite of their limitations. I'd love to see them with a large budget.

Slow. Drags on. Dialog not that great. Interesting premise of entity toying with humans by trapping them in a time loop that eventually causes them to kill themselves to try to escape, futilely, over and over.

Biggest waste of anyone’s money. This movie was moronic and I don’t recommend anyone to waste their precious time putting any thought into it. I completely understood it and the premise was crap... you would need like 20 sequels for it to go anywhere and the directing was terrible. Executive producers wasted time and money, the producer that also wrote it is an idiot, and the people that gave it awards were most certainly on bad drugs that day.
  • Low budget waste of a good idea

The Endless has decent production design for its obviously low budget, but when it starts to drag towards the end you realize that they only had enough ideas for a 1.5 pages of dialogue. The characters are infuriating, and the setting begins to lose all menace when as soon as the plot rears its ugly head. Great set-up, bad movie. Though they're thematically different, it reminded me a lot of "Creep". Although Creep was much better, and didn't get over ambitious with its budget.

This filmmaking duo made another great film. This was beautiful with great acting and truly makes you think. I am so glad the universe of Resolution was made far deeper with this. Highly recommend this and Resolution.

Nice premise, terrible everything else. Please don’t do this to people. The movie was a metaphor for watching the movie itself: don’t do it.

The concept had such potential but the execution failed. I don’t understand how this has the good reviews it does. I am glad I didn’t spend more than the 99 cents + tax.
